About the Artist
Sara Almudhaf was born in Kuwait, in May 18, 1985. She received her
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the College for Women -
Kuwait University in 2008. Throughout the college years,
Almudhaf has studied and practiced graphic design through
internships, extracurricular activities, part-time jobs and
voluntary work in different college departments. In her senior
year, she has volunteered as a teacher assistant in the
department of Art & Design and gave several lectures and
tutorials for three different graphic design courses.
Her work has been seen in three gallery exhibitions at the Art & Design Gallery in College for Women – Kuwait University;
in addition to an invitational exhibit at "Dar Al-Funoon"
Gallery in Kuwait. She has won several design awards. She
works as a freelance graphic designer since 2004. One of her
logos was sold for a client in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Her
designs have inspired a design agency in Spain to produce
similar work. Her success is driven by her desire and love
toward her profession in graphic design. Almudhaf is
currently hired as a teacher assistant at the department of Art & Design, in College for Women – Kuwait University.
